As the President and CEO for Panache Career Strategies, Terri assists clients enhance their competencies for career development and transitions. She is credentialed as a Master Certified Coach, a licensed Executive Presence facilitator, and licensed Stylist. Terri specializes in working with STEM Occupations, veterans, military personnel, and high performance talent.Terri is an experienced human resource management practitioner and executive level leader within the federal government. For more than 20 years, she has worked in a variety of executive roles across three Cabinet-level organizations, which include the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Transportation. Terri’s work includes a variety of Cabinet-level strategic initiatives, in particular, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs’ Task Force for the Employment and Advancement of Women and the Secretary of Transportation’s Future of Aviation Advisory Committee. She has held a number of positions including Acting Executive Director for Corporate Learning and Development, Acting Executive Director for Strategic Performance and Outcomes, Director, Center for Organizational Excellence, Director of Protocol, Executive Officer for Human Resource Management, Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Quality of Life Issues, and as a United States Army Soldier.An avid believer in life-long learning,
Terri is an alumnus of a myriad of executive education programs which include: OPM Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program (SESCDP), Federal Executive Institute (FEI), Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, Georgetown University Government Affairs Institute, Center for Creative Leadership, American University, School of Public Affairs, Brookings Institution, USDA Graduate School, Performance Institute Human Capital Institute, University of Maryland, University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies, National Louis University, Averett University, and United States Army Professional Military Education (primary, basic, and advanced leadership programs).
Additionally, she holds dual graduate degrees and has earned a Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management), and a Master of Science in Management. Her undergraduate work includes the Bachelor of Business Administration, and an Associates in General Studies.
The Women in Military Service (WIMSA) memorial selected Terri as the US Army representative for their Commemorative Postage Stamp honoring women in our military in 1997.
In addition, Terri has received several civilian and military awards to include the Secretary of Transportation Partnership in Excellence Award, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Commendation, and the Secretary of Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award. During her military service, she was recognized with the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal.
